Home Run Derby X is baseball, but not as you know it.
In this electrifying new format co-ed teams of four go head-to-head to hit home runs and make epic catches in a three-inning game built for quick fire, non-stop action.
Gates open at 6pm with TWO giveaways for the first 1,000 fans- a Brady House Bobblehead and a Home Run Derby X poster. Catch MLB and softball legends in action, leading their teams through two semifinals and the championship game.
After the champion is crowned, stick around for an incredible firework show!

Catch Nationals fan favorites Ian Desmond and Gerardo Parra in Fredericksburg, alongside Jonny Gomes, Jake Arrieta, Jocelyn Alo and Ashton Lansdell taking part in the action.
Brian Schneider, former Nationals catcher, will also be in attendance on Finals Night (Saturday).

The first 1,000 fans are taking home both a Brady House Bobblehead AND a Home Run Derby X poster.
There will also be a DJ on site to get the party started as everything leads up to the first match-up at 7:05pm.
Each co-ed team has 3 hitters and 1 pitcher.
Each hitter will have one at bat of 2 minutes 30 seconds; the opposing team will be in the outfield.
A home run scores one point for the offense.
A catch by an outfielder scores one point for the defense.
Extra points can be earned through hitting hot streaks, target strikes, and in-game boosters
A Tag in/Tag out option is available for each at-bat
The team with the most total points after all at bats wins the game.
- TRYOUT: We are looking for baseball and softball players who can hit the ball out of the park to show us your skills in a draft-day tryout on Friday, August 25. Apply here* for the opportunity to be a Home Run Derby X champion. *Terms and Conditions apply.
- GET DRAFTED: At the end of the tryout day, eight men and women will be drafted by MLB Legends, including Nick Swisher and Jonny Gomes, to join their teams in a public Home Run Derby X final the next evening.
- PLAY UNDER THE LIGHTS: Four teams will compete in front of a hometown crowd at the Home Run Derby X final at Virginia Credit Union Stadium on Saturday, August 26.
- WIN BIG: The winning team will take home a $5,000 cash prize.
